Sticky Garlic Prawns recipe
These deliciously sticky and garlicky prawns are perfect for parties. Serve them with a cool herby dip or some BBQ sauce for a seriously tasty dish. Remember to place a plain bowl on the table for the prawn shells and individual lemon water bowls for rinsing fingers. You could also remove the heads and de-vein the tails for easier eating.
Ingredients:
- 600g large raw prawns
- 6 garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 dried red chilli
- Salt and pepper
Method of Preparation:
Mince the garlic cloves and finely chop the chilli, removing the seeds if you desire.
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and add the garlic cloves and dried chilli. Cook for around 2 minutes or until the garlic just begins to colour.
Tip in the prawns and cook them for around 1-2 minutes on each side, until they turn bright pink. Season well.
Once cooked, remove them from the frying pan and serve them with the garlicky oil drizzled over them.
