Mini Pizzas - Dough recipe

Mini pizzas are always a hit with everyone. Simply whip up a batch of this dough and make your pizzas as big or small as you’d like, then top them with one of our delicious topping recipes or invent your own! This batch makes enough for 32 mini pizzas. Double up the quantities if you want to make more.

  • 1kg strong white bread flour
  • 14g dried yeast
  • 4 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. caster sugar
  • 1 tbsp. sea salt
  • 650ml lukewarm water

Method of Preparation:

  1. Place all of the flour and the salt onto your work surface into a heap and then create a well in the centre of it.

  2. Whisk the oil with the water and add the sugar and the yeast. Leave the water to stand for a few minutes.

  3. Pour the liquid into the well you made in the flour and then using your fork, bring the flour into the liquid and keep bringing the flour in until you can’t use your fork anymore.

  4. Use your hands to knead the dough, rolling it and pulling it until it becomes soft and springy.

  5. Pull off small balls of the dough and roll them into balls. Flatten them with your hands until they resemble the base of a pizza.

  6. If you’re going to use them immediately simply leave them on a floured surface to top. If not, cling wrap them and put them into the fridge or freezer.
