Cream Cheese Icing recipe
This icing goes particularly well with our red velvet cake and carrot cake recipes. If you’re making a layer cake, ice the top of each cake and place the cakes on top of each other and then ice the top and the sides of the cake. If icing cupcakes, use a piping bag to ice a pattern onto each cake.
Ingredients:
- 400g icing sugar
- 250g cream cheese
- 150g butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Method of Preparation:
Blend all of the above ingredients together until smooth and combined well.
Use the icing to ice your cakes, making sure that the cakes are completely cool before icing them.
