Chocolate Fudge Icing recipe

This icing is delicious with all of the cakes listed above. If you’re making a layer cake, ice the top of each cake and place the cakes on top of each other and then ice the top and the sides of the cake. If icing cupcakes, use a piping bag to ice a pattern onto each cake.

Ingredients:

  • 120g butter
  • 4 tbsp. milk
  • 4 tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 450g icing sugar

Method of Preparation:

  1. Put the butter, milk and cocoa powder into a saucepan and heat until melted. Mix in the icing sugar a little bit at a time until fully combined.

  2. Allow it to cool slightly before using it to ice cakes.

Very simple and easy to make, and also very tasty. I used it to ice chocolate brownies, and they've been a hit.
